    Gazelle T4 Hub Tent

Folks, I have a gently used Orange Gazelle T4 that I am thinking about selling as we are moving out of state at the end of July. My boys love this tent as they put it up and take it down on every camping trip. This tent is not exactly "compact". I want it to go to a good home. If you live...

An argument against Roof Top Tents

I love the looks off roof top tents. I like the idea of pulling into a cool place and sleeping without worrying what's on the ground. I looked at roof top tent for years and decided that climbing down a ladder in the middle of the night to water the plants is not a good idea. Most roof top...

    Gazelle T4 Review

Have any of you considered purchasing a Roof Top Tent? Most roof top tents are heavy weighing 90 plus pounds. I want a lightweight tent that's easy to set up ,and take down, and easily stored in the off-season. I looked at roof top tent for years and decided that climbing down a ladder in...

5 Week Over-Roading Trip from Bay Area to Eastern US and back

Greetings Overland Bound. members. I have a high clearance 2WD stock Ford E350 that we are taking on a cross-country road trip from the Bay Area in California to North Carolina and back. Here's the basic route. We are on at least our 16th road trip of 1 month or longer. However, I am always...

    New Member experience

Hey guys and gals! I found Overland Bound while searching for a good roof top tent that I can set up on the ground. I am an active guy that enjoys adventure. Getting up in the middle of the night and climbing down and back up a ladder is not my idea of a good adventure. The Gazelle T4 solved...

How are you hauling your Gazelle T4 tent?

I have a 15 passenger Ford E350 van. The T4 fits neatly behind the last passenger bench seat. For longer trips, I store it in my Thule Atlantis cargo box.

    Ordered my Flexopower Lithium444

It was fully charged. I am running an Arb 60 quart fridge/freezer. I connected an old beat up Canadian tire AGM marine battery and it ran for 2 days. The Flexopower has been one of the least desirable piece of equipment in my camping arsenal. It's an expensive cell phone charger.

    Ordered my Flexopower Lithium444

I know this is an old post, but this really helps. I have a 60 liter Arb fridge freezer. We like to keep it cold for meat and cheese. The average power is supposed to be .5 amps per hour. I think it's more like 2 amps per hour as we keep it cold. According to your calculations, my fridge...

    Ordered my Flexopower Lithium444

Not sure what the issue is with the unit. I connected a 3-year-old Canadian Tire 70 ah AGM battery to my Arb this week and it lasted 2 full days. The battery is old and abused. I have a 4 year-old LifeLine AGM battery that I will test tonight. I contacted Flexopower in South Africa to see if...

    Ordered my Flexopower Lithium444

I ordered the Flexopower unit last May and it's total junk. It stopped charging after 1 week on the road. I sent the unit back to Flexopower and had to pay postage for the return. They sent me another unit that will not power my Arb 60 liter fridge. It keeps the fridge on for about a...
