Greetings Overland Bound. members. I have a high clearance 2WD stock Ford E350 that we are taking on a cross-country road trip from the Bay Area in California to North Carolina and back. Here's the basic route. We are on at least our 16th road trip of 1 month or longer. However, I am always open to suggestions for cool places to visit and bad areas to avoid. I have been adventure traveling in the US since I was a kid. I have hitch-hiked, bicycled, and car camped all over the country. The best information is always from other peoples experiences.
