I appreciate the heads up, if i where to have any kind of equipment stored on ladder would be recovery trax at most. I may just get the ladder and see how it goes as I can always upgrade the hatch struts later. The C4 does look sleek and matches the prinsu rack better than gobi rack.

Not sure what you mean by lock to roof rack when closed, but great point with the 270° awning! I did not even consider that aspect as, I don't currently have an aftermarket rear bumper....but that is in planning! I dont have the batwing, but rather looking at the overland pros 2500 270° awning...

After combing through the vast youtube videos and reviews I have decided to turn the experts in our own community to get the answers I need. Currently looking to get a hatch ladder for my 2018 4Runner and have yet to find a solid answer on whether or not I need new struts for the hatch as well...

@Teng 86 there are quite a few plans floating around for the 4th gen body. Just a simple google search and they're there. Just be sure that the schematics are for correct gen!

@KRose, I made it quitre simple to remove! there are 4 turnbuckles two on the back and two on the sides. the drawer housing weighs about ~30lbs i used 3/4 hardwood plywood throughout. the drawers maybe weigh 6-8lbs each empty.

Spent some time researching different drawer systems and decided to get handy during this quarantine and made my own prototype drawer system. Worked some kinks out and still have a few more to figure out, but she works well!

Got back from a work trip to Albany to find my emblems in the mail. First thing I did was tag my 4Runner, they look great on the dark gray.

Looking for affordable/reliable lift kit, doesnt need to be full suspension kit. In the range of 1.5-3in lift, recommendations on kits or if used kit laying around willing to purchase (will pay for shipping/packaging, etc).

So was looking for some review viedos on the Maxsa tracks. Was hard to find and field reviews but did come across the link above showing then with what looks like some really good rebound. Hope this helps.
