2 month trip starting February 2022

Good luck man. Easiest way for me is plan first destination, everything after that just roll with it Oregon Crater Lake NP Smiths Rock SP Sahalie Falls Tamolitch Blue Mount Rainier Multnomah Falls Silver Falls SP Oregon Dunes Haystack Rock, but just cruise the coast and you’ll find a ton of stuff

What does everyone use for water storage?

2 aquatainer 7g, one 5 gal Primo water jug with a pump handle from Home Depot. Easy as pie.

    Foliage in Northern New Hampshire

Great vid! Have to say, NH is a gem. Went up for a few weeks of camping earlier during fall. Colors were some of the most insane I've ever seen (and I normally spend fall in Appalachia).

What Did You Do With Your Rig Today?

Tundra was bouncing around on idle. Pulled the MAF sensor, dirty. Sprayed w/ cleaner and she's good as new! Up next will be Durobumps front/Supersprings rear. Should be in soon. All in prep for a slide in camper sometime around Feb!

Camped down by the water for a few nights. Still had to go to work though :disrelieved:

Silly Sleeping Bag Question for RTT owners

They make sleeping bags in the form of a bed, ie a square. For me, I use one bag spread open beneath and one bag spread open above. Basically like sheets on a bed. Throw a few blankets in and off I go.

What Did You Do With Your Rig Today?

Quality of life improvements. Replaced cheap Walmart topper with the one off my bed. Tent barely closes with sleeping bags and pillows now, though it also barely closed before. Big thing I like about fiberglass RTTs: they can flex. Will be camping tonight to test it out

    Western expedition in a 2wd

It's not nearly as remote as you think. Nowadays every trail is marked and known about. Most I went in 3mo out west was a few days without seeing someone or having a car drive by where I was. Hard to find any places really far from people.

    Western expedition in a 2wd

Everyone else is right. 2wd will take you where you want. 4wd comes into play mostly with snow/mud, maybe some sand in the southwest. You'll be surprised, you'll drive an hour down a pretty rough dirt road and see a frickin full size motorhome.
