Final Days to Become an Owner of Overland Bound

While this is a pretty low stakes issue, I think after a year it's pretty fair to publicly point out what appears to be an incredibly inept transaction (in which, after all, money did change hands).

Final Days to Become an Owner of Overland Bound

My understanding of Crowd SAFE is that you either have to wait for a liquidity event or find someone else to buy your investment. Dubious it will ever pay off or that you will be able to sell it (I doubt the perks transfer, which I suspect would be the main motivation for a new buyer, but am not...

    New Mexico Overlanders

Los Pinos campground seems like it should be good for you. (I've not stayed, but it looked lovely when I drove past last year).

Iceland Overlanding / Expeditions - Shared Experience

My wife and I rented a campervan in 2019 for a week or so and had a lot of fun - no F roads though. On the F roads, do you still have to camp in defined campgrounds, or can you dispersed (wild) camp?

    SOLD SOLD - New Mexico - iKamper Skycamp 2 - $3000 - Local Pickup

I have an iKamper Skycamp 2 for sale. I am selling it because we have ordered a rugged teardrop trailer instead. We have been very happy with this tent, but have decided to opt for a bit more comfort (we're not getting any younger) with a bit less capability (the tent went up and over Imogene...

    Aluminum Sand Ladders

I've wondered about these - do a review if you get them!

    Overlanding and CPAP

In round numbers my CPAP (without humidifier or heated tube) uses about 100 watt-hours per night and your cranking battery probably has about 700 watt-hours, so you're probably at about a 15% discharge so you're probably fine in terms of not killing your battery if you don't have any other loads...

Hike-In/Walk-in Only Campsite Trend? Why is this happening?

In some parts of my life I have preferred one style of camping, at other parts the other. Probably as many people love the change as hate it. It's unfortunate that the world doesn't conform to my desires, but I've learned to cope.

    F-150 platinum overland build

Is the electronics "hub" hanging in your rack a commercial unit? Looks useful!

Not in the market (I have my own 2017 F150 :-), but a picture might help for interest.

    Central New Mexico

From Socorro, west past Magdalena, then south through Bear trap Canyon, drive in the direction of Beaverhead, and then drive south between the Aldo Leopold and Gila wilderness is a nice drive. Probably above 7k' the entire distance, so it will be cold.

    F150 XLT 4x4 build

No personal experience (yet), but the consensus on the internet is that with a level Raptor wheels and tires (315/70/R17) will fit.

    New Mexico Overlanders

The BDR through the Gila is completely straightforward driving. (Caveat - might be different if it's wet). The FR180 section (near Reserve) is slow going because it's really rocky (I imagine it would be obnoxious on a bike), but again it's not tricky at all. (It also has an easy "alt" route if...

    Everything including the kitchen sink

Nice! Do you have a link to the actual collapsible sink? It looks like a much better size than what I have been using.

    Camping near Yellowstone?

Understood - I was stressed about it. Just give yourself time to get out of the park and onto forest service roads before dark, and you'll be good.
