    propane tanks

They only have the 20 pound tanks. I also like the compact size of the 5 and 7 pound tanks. When we use my wifes Kia to go camping they are easy to bring along. The only time i use the 20 pound tank is when the fire bans are on and we take the propane fire pit with us. Camping is not the...

    Water Use

Here in British Columbia we are never that far from some source of water. I carry two 20 litre (5 gallon) water jugs with me. Once one is empty we will find a water supply and use our life straw filter to refill the empty jug. Up till recently i freeze 2 litre (2quart) water bottles to use...

    No more ice!!!

I recently picked up the Whynter 45, so far so good. The only thing i find is that for shorter trips its bigger than we need. I also find you need to plan your menu and pack your fridge accordingly, just like you would with a regular cooler.

    propane tanks

My 7 pound bottle lasted for 8 days my last trip out. That was making 2 meals a day, 10 cup purculater coffee and hot water for dishes and hygiene. I carry it in the back of the jeep right now but will be moving it to the overland trailer soon.

    What is your rigs name

This is Buster. It took a couple of years to figure out his name. Before I started overlanding it. It came from the fact that initially I would make it or Bust it Trying. Got too expensive so switched to overlanding and exploring. This was taken last year passing through Jasper National Park.

    Tarp Awning

I used a 6 x 8 Tarp and no i didn't cut it down. The ends are attached to the cross pieces with washers and sheet metal screws. The sides I will use bungee cords across to keep it tight and to give me some place to hang towels and lights up.
