4Runner Owners Registry

Had a 2008 V6 in the same color with sport package but had to sell it in 2010. Picked up a 1999 which had some mods as well. Sold that in 2013, regret that one, and bought a 2013 Jeep GC Trailhawk. Nice truck...but just no personality. So sold it and picked up my 2006 V8 in August of last year and love it. My 2008 was stock except stereo and I babied it...the 2006 is modified and WILL be taken offroad! Mods:

It's a 97 hilux surf with the 3.0 intercooled turbo diesel, I'm waiting for it to come from Japan so its stock (as far as I know) but I'm excited to start over landing and building my rig!
Really cool set up. I always wondered how much similarity there was to the Hilux truck.

Checking in again, got my surf back in August and I'm loving it! These were taken back in December went wheeling and was shocked by how capable it was with everything stock! Other than some duratacs. Looking into doing a possible lift nothing crazy, snorkel and winch. Then don't know from there!
