Any decent welder should be able to make you one. While you are in there, I recommend having him weld the ends of the frame to the frame rails all the way around. A friend of mine noticed his starting to crack; after adding more weld he was good to go and has had no further problems.

I started with a bent ranch hand rear bumper.

Pressed it strait at the shop and im building the tire gate now to go on it.

Fitting and trimming main bumper piece. Making up template for frame rail mount brackets.

Recovery points came in.



Forming mount brackets.



Pilot drilling for broaching.



Test fit.

The new bumper I wasn't planning on buying. Apparently I hit a mud pit harder than expected during the Great Hungry Valley Alternator Massacre and sheared just about every mount on the plastic valance.

Had to pull the fan back out. I wanted to add more support to take some weight off of the top radiator mount points. I also wanted to expand the fairing in order to increase the area that the fans drew through the radiator. So I cut off the bottom of the fan fairing and fabbed a new combination support and fairing that would take advantage of the old mount locations on the bottom of the radiator.

Between cutting heat and dimpling, this panel was an arch. With some creative heating I got it reasonably straight.



Meh. Rusty on the TIG machine.



Everything looks good in flat black.

Growing Bull Mastiff Puppy



Haven't had some good bumper time in a wee bit. Welded in end cap to arm. Drilled, tapped, and installed over center latch onto arm. Mocked up latch anchor point with rub strip then welded. Not pictured is the anchor point end shape with chamfered edges and softened corners. High amounts of corrosion thanks to upstairs renters ... housekeeping ... habits.
