Here in So-Cal Me and my pointer hunt Upland Birds: Quail, Dove, Pheasant, Chukar. and, I have also tagged a buck and a wild pig.
However, the both of us are slowing down a bit.

I'm currently in TX so I hunt the hill country a lot. I'm a freezer filler, never cared much about trophies, just want to feed my family with the highest quality free range, grass fed, organic meat I can. Typically hunt dove, white tail, hogs and turkey.

Looks like I'm late to the party!
I grew up in South Dakota pheasant, grouse, prairie chicken, partridge, and fall turkey hunting. I've gotten into deer, dove, coyote, and spring turkey hunting, now. This year I got asked to go with a group that has 4 elk tags (antlerless) in the Black Hills of South Dakota, and another friend asked me to go with him and his son elk hunting (also antlerless). Might need recommendations on a frame pack...

I hunt every year, mostly deer, rabbit and grouse, also like to go raccoon hunting in the fall.

Have a bucket list for black bear and elk. I have hunted in Ohio, PA, MI, KY, and TX.
I am open to travel and hunt, I am retired now.
