Finished up the transmission cable install...testing out, seems ok but not going into park as easy as it should but still working....as of right now sitting in front of a casino drinking a Foster's....hope to have a good time...have gear with me for overnight stay if needed.... I drove one wheel up a ramp to check the clearance of a bolt with the front diff plate cover, on newly installed 4in lift spring , im ready to start driving my truck off road after 3 yrs of building!

Patched up a small crack in my roof top tent with some Marine Tex epoxy. This stuff is amazing, and I have confirmed reports that you can fix a marine engine intake manifold with it.

Took the LJ on a chili cook off Christmas tree run in the snow with some local friends and my awesome wife towards Sagehen Reservoir, about 20 miles in the snow which was on average 1.5 feet deep. Used the tug ‘‘em straps several times folks dug in our drove in the ditch. Great trip and a great time.

I will receive them tomorrow, but I'm replacing the mattress in my rooftop tent. I ordered 2 4 inch thick self inflating sleeping pads to replace the 1.5in foam mattress the tent came with.

Today I removed the whole front of my LR4 to install fog lights. Had to make some cut-outs in the bumper and did a factory-like retrofit.
No photo of the result, because it was already dark then

Ordered/installed some new tires. Definitely feels better and I think it looks significantly better. Went with the stock size for now as I don't plan on doing too high of a suspension lift and not for a few months. Still needs to be a daily driver, family hauler, and grocery runner (I may happen to go through a few puddles and small trails on the way to the stores).
