The overnight we did late last summer was awesome... most epic camp spot I have ever had the pleasure of setting a tent up in.

And not too far from town! Can't wait to see @Hogman's Jeep upgrades. Maybe this time he won't be afraid to drive across the water. Hahaha!

And same, I am always looking for adventure.
Some areas that I've had my eye on that should have manageable snow levels for a day trip of exploring:
- Olympic national forest (the southern portion that is east of Hood canal)
- South west corner of the Gifford Pinchot NF area south of Elbe (although we'd have to triple-check for gates @Ubiety
) - Mount Baker NF (eastern section between Darrington and Hamilton)
- Gifford Pinchot NF section south of Randle

My LR3 bed sleeping platform is still a work in progress, currently waiting for my alumnium tubing to arrive, so that will be a little while. But I am down for a day trip any time.

Yeah, what he said! Handhelds have too many wires and buttons. With a mobile you really only have the mic to deal with.

I don’t care where we go. The vast majority of my overlanding time has been out of state in MT, OR, ID and NV. Show me a good time gatekeeper! Hahahaha, see what I did there? I’m gonna call you gatekeeper from now on so you should just go change your screen name now to avoid confusion :)
