Robert, right here! I enjoy the Sequoias in the winter and Yosemite too! What sleeping insulation gear do you use to stay warm? I have a few accordion style thermarest pads, 0F down bag and a single wall kleen kanteen.

I agree! Curious, what snow shovels do you use and find working well?
Fortunately no shovels were required for the above photos. On skiing and winter offroading trips I usually bring along a collapsible shovel. I don't think the one I have is still in production, but it's similar to https://www.amazon.com/Navaris-Aluminum-Utility-Snow-Shovel. I also carry a small round point shovel that is useful if I have to chip through ice.

I lived in a 30 foot sail boat on the west coast of canada for years. Ran a wood heater. That was cool. But ive also done a far bit of winter camping. A chainsaw and big fires are the key to a good time in the winter.
