What kind of knives do you carry?

I carry a Kershaw Onion and for hunting and camp I have a Western W36 I built.

My go to is my first pocketknife that My dad gave me on my 8th birthday. It’s a BSA Cub Scout knife made by Camillus. After 26 years it’s holding up great.

After that, I have a Gerber multi-plier 400 compact sport, which I find handy.
It's great that you've held on to it for so many years. Really nice.

I recently received a Morakniv Companion Spark. It seems a decent knife, and the fire steel works very well.

I use a similar one which was made by Mora and Light my Fire in a cooperation. Have it since years and works good! The knive I use the most is a Leatherman Wave.

I don't give a ... for knives as they are for cutting bread those days. Any how I carry real machete and must hide it deep enough as it's illegal in some european states. What a hypocrites f..rs!!!! Often she is more eficient then axe, but axe You may carry - no problem

For carrying, I've got what is probably the original version of this Gerber multi-tool - https://www.gerbergear.com/en-us/sh...ls/multi-plier-600-stainless-needlenose-07530 - which I've had for probably 15 years now? It was a gift from my mother-in-law many moons ago.

A dedicated camping knife is something we didn't have so I was looking for something that could be used for various tasks, was unique, and not some cheap blade from China. I was watching YouTube (dangerous) and came across someone that was using this knife for camping because it worked well for multiple tasks and it's definitely unique. Hard to tell size from the pic, but it's a 6-inch blade and not some giant knife.

EDC is a Benchmade Mini Freek with Carbon fiber scales from the factory. Outdoors is either the Gerber strongarm of the Benchmade Saddle Mountain Skinner. Becoming a bit if a Benchmade junky over the years.

I still have the Cub Scout and Boy Scout pocket knives that I got when I entered Scouts beginning in 1965. Replaced the sheaths a couple times though.

I have an older Schrade Uncle Henry Hunter blade that I found in my dad's stuff when he passed away several years ago. I didn't know he even had something like this, as he wasn't really an "outdoors" kinda guy, although he did work at Yosemite as a teen and spent lots of time in the jungle while in the Army before I was born. I cleaned it up and sharpened it. works great!

Well, I'd dare to say that makes it quite a special knife then.

The Woodsman looks like it's the perfect size - all-around useful I'll bet!
