2020 Subaru Crosstrek 6MT Build

Hey guys, I’m starting this thread to document the build of my Crosstrek. Hoping to provide how to’s and information on building one for the other Trek owners out there! Here she is the first day I picked her up from Bob Baker Subaru:

Seeing these treks makes me miss ours! We love the 4Runner, but for daily use, the subie was the way to go imho. We will own another one day.

We never did anything to ours, but it went everywhere I pointed it...

Got some goodies today! Was not expecting my wheels to get here so soon... Shipping said it would take up until next Wednesday and I wasn’t even emailed a shipping confirmation lol.

Oh yeah, I’ve got my Readylift 2” lift ready to go! (No pun intended). Just waiting on the tires before it’s all installed.

Did some badge work and blacked out the center of the rear bumper. That center section should have been black from the factory imo.

The vinyl window American flags turned out real nice from Premium Auto Styling in Riverside, CA.

Wow ! I learned to drive on an 85 Celica! What a flash back lol . Can’t wait to see this build your doing with the Subaru!

Installed my Readylift along with my wheels and tires from Discount. Only issue I had was the wheel weights were rubbing against the caliper. Took it back to Discount and they got it all fixed!
The wheels are Black Rhino Units in 15x7 +15 and the tires are Falken Wildpeak AT3W in a 235/75r15. Definitely rubs a bit!

Wow ! I bet it does rub just a teeny tiny bit :) Those Rims look sweet ! Let us know how it handles, speeds, mpg or any other entertaining info. Going to go research the lift and tires now :)

Great wheel and tire combo had the same offset on both my foresters , they didn’t rub on my 2018 but had to get creative with trimming and hammering the inner wheel well to get them to clear on my 03 . The larger tire really does help a lot when aired down to soak up the bumps on a subi

Definitely. The difference in the wheel and tire setup off road is a night and day difference.

I wish I could’ve kept it because it would have looked great with a lift on it and the 235s but sometimes things just don’t work out .
