My rig is a 2015 Jeep JKU Hard rock edition.
My overland experience is mostly salt water based though I have traveled by land vehicle and camped as well. I would load my 17ft alum boat and dot small islands or peninsula's for a few days at a time. I am former LE and trianed\certified through The Department of Homeland Security (FLETC) in combat lifesaving techniques which I feel could prove useful on the trail though hopefully my skills are never needed. LOL! I was going to put down some irrigation line the other day and when I started digging the hole promptly filled with water. More on the way they say.

I hate it. Winter in SC is rain every weekend. Check the weather reports and change my mind lol. Been here almost 38 years and still have no use for it.

"Knock on wood" I've been lucky with mine, but I guess they are hit or miss with reliability. Hope she chose a good one. They are very capable rigs though.
