Chinese Diesel Heaters????

It looks like a good self-contained unit. Following
 
I've been following these for a couple of years. They seem to work well. I'm probably getting the basic system and mounting it in a box. I read a post where a guy put his in a Pelican case and throws it in the truck for the winter run's.
Calculate how much output you need. For my new trailer and my RTT, it looks like I need 2-3kw. If their too big, they cycle on and off too much. Most of the posts I read say they use 2qt for 6 hours run time.
My purchase is probably 6 months away.
 
Looks like a self contained copy of an Esbar. Pay very close attention to intake and exhaust piping on these heaters, it is a big deal so don't short cut that. Also for intermittent use they will run cleaner and more reliably on kerosene.
 
genuine "real" unit cost about $1000 , and i have experience with espar and webasto so .......... this one is just made in china " genuine" garbage ,
sure you can try , but don't say i did not warned you .

I'm in the middle of fitting one of the Chinese units in to a plastic tote. Hoping to make the whole unit self contained so I can just toss it in the truck and go. I plan to use my hub style fish house. for the couple of times a season I will need heat, it's just not worth spending $700+ for a name brand. In fact, I DON'T have $700+ to spend on anything that isn't required to get my truck to or from my destination.

I looked into them a few months ago and the Chinese units had generally favorable reviews. Now that it's getting to spring time it's back on the backburner so to speak.
