Hey Everyone!

I am planning to go to OVERLAND EXPO EAST this year! I want you all to join me if you can! This thread is about sharing my plan and if it aligns with any of yours (at any point) join us!!

Here is my itinerary:

Wednesday
Leave Manchester at 10 am. I would be interested in meeting people who want to caravan down earlier that morning.
Drive through Boston 11 am (Traffic should be okay)
Drive through Hartford 12 pm (holy traffic nightmare batman, but hopefully not terrible)
Arrive at blue ridge parkway in Afton at 8/9pm.
Find place to camp near Afton for the night ( I am open for suggestions)

Thursday
Leave Afton VA around 6:30 am for sunrise (7:14 am) in blue ridge parkway.
Drive to infinity downs at be there for almost 8.
Find a place to park at event.
Hangout and explore.

Friday-Saturday
Enjoy the OLBE Event. Meet people!!

Sunday
Travel home.

Here is the route I want to take.

Hey! I'll be right behind you! I can't leave until Thursday morning, but I will be there by late evening! :)

Im going too!
Plan on departing from NH Thursday morning but, time subject to change slightly as the date gets closer.

Might want to think about maybe taking I84 at Danbury CT to Scranton NY. Helps to completely avoid the traffic issues around New York City and surrounding area. Made the trip from Maine to points south of Maryland more times then I can count. Traffic around NYC was always a pain.

Thank you for the heads up.
I've had that very conversation with others.
Still considering Tapen Zee, to Garden St Prkwy, to Jersey trnkp. What I dont like is around DC, that too, can be stop and go.
