Here are some of the projects I have built. All are from ground up. Rack is a “aluminum basket insert” that’s fits inside the factory roof rack. The storage box/sleep platform is modular and also has an aluminum frame to hold the weight down.

That is a sweet rack. Not everybody does aluminum welding.

Just about everything on my rig and it's tag along follower is built by me, Currently working on some sliders for the rig. 1.5" square tubing 3/8" wall. They fit up nicely on the rig, just need to paint and weld them to the frame now.

Looks good. Like your workshop. Some aluminium checker plate might give it a nice finishing look.
