Had to ask first but they said it was fine. Sure they won't allow large groups but a car or two should be fine.

Not sure how many members there are in SA. As far as I know, there has been no meetups. See you are based in Joburg?

Yip, seems SA based members few and far between. Many other forums and clubs on the go that like minded people seem to focus on rather.

True, I'm a member of some of those as well. I really like the OB core principles though and the work that's being done elsewhere (track cleanups, training etc). Would love to see more of that down here. It's a bit of a struggle to get folks together on some of these other forums (or maybe just in general ). To that point I'm working with a few NPO's that do volunteer work in parks and reserves (maintenance, clean-ups etc) and getting volunteers has been really difficult. Now considering the overlanding community is one of the biggest user groups of these this should not be such a difficult task imho.
