Currently building an overland travel combo. 1999 F-350 Crew Cab 4X4, Palomino SS1251 camper, 18' flatbed trailer, and 1993 Suzuki Samurai. All capable of rugged long distance exploration. Looking to discover North America one destination at a time.
2025! Anyone else from Long Island? I’ll be taking the rig to go mountain biking tomorrow if any locals ride!
Good morning adventure seekers!
Yesterday was a fabulous day and I crushed it hard. This morning enjoying coffee on the back patio and planning another awesome day of success.
Hope you are having an epic day as well!
My air-conditioning sucks. I have an off-road Porsche 957 2009 with center locks. Tried everything. Thoughts on how to solve this other than a new vehicle? Need to be in 110 degree heat.
Got an IDEA. I hate tire road noise. I bought used street tires on rims that fit. I removed old rims and put new mud tires on them. Now my original 17 inch rims have new deep tread M/S tires on them. I plan to carry them on my trailer and when I arrive at the trail, switch them out. Thoughts?

I live here. Are you planning off roading or a street tour? There are no off road trails for circumnavigating California. The only trails are on the Nevada side of the Sierras which is spectacular. Take 395 north from highway 58.

We are going to do a combo of off-highway trails when we can (especially along the 395 corridor) and other state routes.
T-19 days and a wake up! GA Traverse (w-e route) then jumping onto the SCAT#3. Ending with a jump in the Atlantic!
To buy a new rig or not to buy a new rig, that is the question...

Well new to me anyways! Lol, but I think it may be time... The Patriot held its own for what it was but it's seriously limited.
