Wolf Flats Recreation Area ID (Snake River)

Hey,

I am heading out to Jackson Hole to meet up with my father (he is on a road trip from Maine). Trying to get some information on Wolf Flats on the Snake River. How's the road in? how busy is it on a Wednesday.

Planning to stop there after about 12 hours of driving. From the Bay Area CA.

Are there better spots closer to Idaho falls. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
