Winter trip

Hi OB Members in Scandinavia,

So, I decided spontaneously to head the north next week.

First to Norway, visit friends and mount my Nokians with spikes. Then I drive north, later southward over Finland and Sweden. So the approximate plan, which I will adjust according to mood and weather conditions.

Would be happy to meet a few OB members along the way for a beer or so around the campfire or maybe even ride a section together. Feel free to contact me. @Todd Jackson and @JeeperFIN Let´s keep in touuch and see if we can meet along the route. Would be great.

Also if someone here spontaneously wants to join me to the north, please let me know.

Hi,

I am already back since a week. 4 weeks ago I took the ferry DK to Norway, visited friends in the South, mounted my studded tires. Then drove all the way up to North Cape, then over to Finland and later Sweden and then back to Norway and home. Had a great time, stunning winter landscapes, winterwonderland. And as always people made the trip most memorable. So it was really nice to meet so many OB members along the way, had good conersations, some little trips and campfire together.

Hi there. New to the group. Thanks for letting me join in the fun.
Planning to travel Norway (from the UK) in January 2023. Have a roof top tent. Hoping to camp. Yes, it will be cold and dark but with the right gear we are feeling positive. Have done Norway a couple of times in the summer on a motorbike. Now a Toyota and a bed on top!
Any tips etc…. would be gratefully received….
