Any idea what caused the rig to roll?
My guess would be fear. He pulled too far to the right and climbed the rock wall. It's on Black Bear Pass in Colorado. It's not a difficult trail unless you have a fear of heights.

This has been discussed a lot, while the tent played a small factor it was inexperience and taking a poor line... Having a RTT is fine if you know what you are doing. I have had my 4runner on some extreme angles but having a spotting is key to know how far you can push angles.

Just saying screw the rtt. Be glad you didn’t go over the edge of that cliff by the looks. & honestly if you had a trailer hooked up with the added weight of the trailer might have taken you over for a long looking tumble. Just saying totally get the point hope everyone is ok.
