Where are my Bay Area Overlanders At??

San Jose , I am also looking to get out weekend 8-24 I was thinking Gold lake, Shaver Lake or Downieville but if you know good routes in Truckee I might be game.
 
Tres Pinos, (below South Bay, near Hollister Hills). This month is shot to heck but looking for a weekend adventure in September or October time frame.
 
San Jose here as well. I'm in a full size rig and not trying to get too crazy on some difficult trails. Keep me in mind on some trips coming up. Thinking of Gold Lake 4x4 this weekend but friend has a subie with a small lift. I don't think its a good fit for them. Maybe I'll check out Gold Lakes soon.

I'm still debating if I should go. We just came back from an overlanding trip. Not sure my family is up to another one so I might be solo if I do go.
 
Hey all, just found this post today. I am interested in future opportunities - so keep me up to date.

Also, random availability Sunday September 13 through Tuesday September 15 I am heading up to Usal Beach and Sinkyone SP, etc, and perhaps cutting back monday to cut across MendoNF. Undiscovered Country for me.

In October will be doing Big Sur-LPNF, for another brief run while I head to the Central Coast to see my dad.

I'm sort of in the Bay. I live in Lincoln (Northeast of Sac) but I spend ~Mon-Thurs in Palo Alto for work.
