What tires to run?

Hello!

I have a 93 80 series that I am installing a 3” OME lift on. I am on the fence on what size tires to run? Looking for other 80 series owners ideas on running 285’s vs 315’s? The Cruiser is locked and has factory gearing. Thanks for the help.

Mmm....At or mud......???

Daily driver...dual use?

Dedicated weekend warrior?

Ran 2 sets of BFG muds.....noise did not bother me. Liked tbem.....but treadwear is way less than their AT version.

AT's WILL LAST A LOT LONGER. You can also find aggressive AT tires which bridge the gap between the two.

Personally...the 285 size will accomplish most of your off-road needs and be much more friendly to your drivetrain.
