What is the max { roof } capacity for a 2021 Lexus GX460?

The manual says 150# using the standard roof rack but I know people use RTT up there and they weigh I'm guessing 100# to 150# alone.
So how do you know how much weight you can put inside the rooftop tent?

I would love to hear from someone here who actually has a GX460 and a RTT.
What does your setup weigh with and without you and your significant other?

You explicitly asked for information from an owner of a GX460 with RTT. Perhaps the combination of GX460 and RTT is not so common here? I do not know. Isn't the GX460 comparable to the 150 Prado? Maybe that would help?

Basically, you have to differentiate between dynamic and static roof load limits. When driving, the dynamic load is the one you look at and you can often find the specs in the vehicle manufacturer's technical specifications. If you have 150 kg limit, subtract the weight of the roof rack with all attachments and the weight of your RTT with all mountings and you know what you can still pack into the RTT. The static roof load is often much higher and comes into play, for example, when you sleep in your RTT at night, because then there is also the weight of the people in the RTT.
