I agree wholeheartedly with @Road about the trailer (Off Grid Pando for us) and @grubworm about the mattress (4” with 2” topper here).
I will add to those a good selection of Backroad Mapbooks which are the go-to reference for BC (Canada) for off road navigation (to supplement Gaia of course).
