I do not have a 3d printer. However, I purchased an adapter for the scepter water jugs to have running water. It was excessively expensive. But, I did not have the capability to make it myself. That expense made it clear to me, that 3d printers are of great value, when you need something specific for a particular task that is not cheap and readily available.
I've printed a few custom mounts for my gear, like a holder for my GPS and a bracket for my solar panel. The most useful one was a little clip to keep my cables organized. It's been a game-changer for keeping my setup neat and accessible.
