Water Pooling?

What is everyone with an overhang doing to help with rain water pooling up in that area?
Normally I am a fair weather camper, and so I have little experience with this issue. But recently I was out and it rained pretty good at night. In the morning my overhang was full of water and I was afraid it would collapse the outer pole if it had to much more pooling.

i have the wife take a kayak paddle and go push up on the low area full of water. one of her collateral duties when it rains...

Could you put an extendable pole in there to lift the center, seems like a bad design if it lets' water pool there. Or a small round pole that would create a center ridge line

Wife won't be on the trip, so that option is out. I will look into a bar or something in the middle, thank you.

I set up with one corner slightly lower than the rest to allow water to drain off.

@Phessor Apparently the new model of that tent come with some extra supports for that area you could try contacting Smittybilt
