First...apologies for some old and dirty pics. Currently hobbled after hernia surgery and crawling around Truckosaurus to get it properly cleaned is going to be...a minute. It's no garage-princess, though, and was never meant to be.

It's with some trepidation that we're putting our beloved truck on the market, but building a new house isn't going to be cheap and we'd feel better having some capital than hanging onto it. We'll just have to adjust to trailer-friendly travel or solo trips in the Cruiser. This truck was purpose built for adventures with our two dogs and has taken us from our home in Virginia to Maine, to Alberta, Canada, all over the Canadian and American Rockies, and back...repeatedly...with nary a whimper (except for that front driveshaft I'll mention later :cautious:). You'll see the build is a bit unique and perfect for canine adventure partners, but I do still retain the factory, vinyl rear bench, rear door panels, headlights, and tailgate (wrapped).

My wife and I are the original owners of this '21 Olive Green Pearl 2500 Tradesman w/ Power Wagon Package. Hence the "Trade Wagon". Knowing I'd be swapping nearly everything out and not wanting the 12" touchscreen, I didn't want a "proper" Power Wagon. It comes with all the PW goodness, though: front and rear e-lockers, electronically disconnecting front swaybar, Warn 10k-lb winch, 4.10 gears, and 5-link rear suspension. This marriage of trim levels also comes with a robust, manually-shifted t-case vs the Power Wagon's electronic selector. It was wrapped in 3M's Matte Military Green almost immediately, so the paint is untouched. The wrap contains the requisite East Coast trail rash, and pine sap, but has no tears other than some minor gravel damage under the rockers. The interior is pretty flawless with easy-to-maintain vinyl flooring and amazing Katzkin perforated leather seats with their heating and cooling modules. Unlike a cheap fan blowing hot air off the ground up your butt, Katzkin's Degreez actually blows air-conditioned...well...air.

Clean and clear title. Includes a fully-transferable, 84-month/100k mile Zurich Vehicle Service Contract was purchased on day one. While it, obviously, won't cover modified components, it will ensure that factory components remain covered for a bit longer.

Disclosure: All mods and items mentioned below are in 100% serviceable (and in most cases VERY good) condition. With that, I want to note two minor flaws in the camper. There's a small dent in the front, passenger corner of the cabover from a branch. Zero crack/instrusion...not even a scratch in the anodized finish. Another branch tore at a seam on the driver-side edge of the camper roof back in 2023. I repaired it the next day with silicone and it has never leaked. No reason it ever should so long as it's maintained like any seam. Lastly, the front driveshaft needs replaced and I will be replacing the rather limited OEM one with a Drivelines Plus HD one from CJC shortly. I recently discovered the stock u-joint wasn't up to the task with a ring of fresh grease where it attaches to the transfer case. Pretty common failure point; particularly with the slight lift the PinTop suspension provides over the already factory-lifted PW package.

Camper:
Purchased in September of '22 ($17k) and installed by OVRLND in Flagstaff, AZ. I've fully insulated it with 1" foam board (roof and walls) and lined the walls with 3/8" plywood with adhesive duct insulation on the outer face to provide thermal bridging. Wall panels are nutserted to the aluminum frame and then covered in carpet tile for the perfect surface to both secure things to and put all those patches. I built the interior myself out of 15-series (complete overkill) extruded aluminum framing save for the 10-series shelving. Everything is anchored to a 1" ply floor that is nutserted to the bed. A BedRug provides some cushioning and insulation. Heat is supplied via a Webasto STC2000 Air Top gas-burning heater that was plumbed to the gas tank by Al Cicione's amazing team in PA. It's all contained in a gorgeous stainless and lexan box that seals over the hole punched through the bed to route fuel and exhaust. A y-connector sends hot air to a directable floor-level vent and an adjustable chimney vent that goes to the foot of the bed. A Webasto digital thermostat controls the temp, or can be operated via an app. Storage is abundant under the main bench and cabinet as well as on the shelves. Surfaces are covered in adjustable tracks for endless lashing points as well as d-rings on the middle bench/platform. Unfortunately the pics I have of the interior were fresh off when I finished it and don't have these details. The floor has self-adhesive vinyl floor planking on it to keep wear on the poly'd plywood to a minimum.

Camper details:
  • 68x80" North/South bed w/ 40" cabover
  • MaxxAir Deluxe fan w/ remote
  • Passenger-side solid hatch that opens up to fridge
  • Driver-side Arctic Tern 3-position window w/ integrated bugscreen and blackout blind
  • Assymetric full barn doors w/ fixed window in larger door
    • Full disclosure: I had to replace the original hinges with piano hinges when I switched to the Expedition One rear bumper due to the swingout spindels being too far inboard. The doors still close, but there's a decent gap at the bottom and they're not, perfectly straight. I still have the original hinges if opening the doors fully isn't a concern, or it can be converted back to upper barn doors and a tailgate if desired.
  • Extra 2" height (10" closed bed height). Includes 2" medium-density HQ Foam Factory mattresses (I still have 3" mattresses as well) w/ waterproof fabric covers.
  • Black anodized finish (no longer an option)
  • Roof liner from OVRLND
  • Insulated walls from OVRLND (leave on full-time)
  • 30A twist-lock plug for shore power
  • SAE plug for solar suitcase
  • REDARC Manager30 w/ Redvision screen
  • Blue Sea fuse panel
  • Overhead LED strip lights white/red switchable and dimmable

Service:
Other than once or twice by the local dealership, I've done all oil changes between 6 and 8k miles with Pennzoil Platinum 0W-40 and Mopar filters. Tires rotated with each oil change. T-case and diff fluids were changed at 31k miles. Upper ball joints replaced with OEM at 54,462 miles. Oil filter adaptor and cooler also replaced at 54,462 miles under warranty.

Please feel free to ask any questions, and I'll update pictures once I can get it cleaned up, properly. The truck has always been garaged since day one if it's not out adventuring. Rust and UV damage just aren't a thing! We're located just north of town in Front Royal, VA...just an hour from Dulles airport where you could fly in and confidently drive it anywhere you want. If there are components you'd rather do without, I'm happy to talk about reducing cost, and/or converting things (like removing the K9 insert if your kids are bipedal and drool less). In the interim, the miles may go up on local, short adventures if we don't want to haul the trailer, but there won't be any long trips in the future.

And because it'll, undoubtedly, come up, my asking price was a mix of fair KBB pricing on the truck as optioned and mileage and taking the cost (not install...not shipping...none of that) of components and slashing them in half right out of the gate (over $60k). I feel this is fair to both me and any potential buyer.
