Since our trip to the Alabama Hills didn't work out last weekend cause #3 got strep throat, we did a last minute run to the Upper Kings River.
They boys,wanted to take the dog with us. I was a little apprehensive, since I've never taken the pup. But we made a few stops to walk her. Just as I thought we were in the clear, she threw up in my truck about 10 minutes from our stop.
We made our way 8 miles trying to find an open spot on the river. Since it was a quick trip, we were burning day light, when we came up to this gem of a spot.
So the boys and I set camp, started a fire, and dinner. What a great trip. The boys enjoyed playing with fire starters. The pup did great. My take her again on our next trip.
