I just learned how to do this and wanted to share it. For those of us that have a Toyota with the Entune system you can update the system yourself by going to the below link and entering the year and make of your vehicle and downloading the update. You then transfer it to a 2GB USB drive. They provide step by step instructions on how to install the update. Not sure how often they provide updates, but I had purchased my 2012 4Runner used and it hadn't been updated at all. I know some dealers will do this for free while others may charge you from what I've read. It was pretty straight forward and took under 5 minutes to do.
