Apologies, I didn't take pictures of the process. Made a couple of crossbars made from unistrut/superstrut. Cut a 10' strut into two 4' pieces. They're galvanized so made sure to clean and etch. Primed, paint then dried. Used squared off U-bolts to bolt it on my existing roof rails. About $60, including the strut, hardware, and paint.

Nice work! Thank you for sharing its inspiring me to try something along that line... A bed rack for my Tacoma
I love super strut! It is so useful for so many things the possibilities are really endless...

Hey man, do you have any inspiration for a bed rack with super strut?

I used that for my cross bars. Did some configuring to get to this point but VERY little money in it.

I made a roof rack out of superstrut many years ago when I had first bought my Frontier. Attached it to Thule load bars. Can be seen in this ClubFrontier.org thread.

Ended up taking it off because...well I'm not really sure. Just ended up wanting to change it out.
