Traveling through CA

  • Guest, we will be conducting site maintenance August 4th and some downtime is expected. At this time Rally Point and the Member Map will also become an app-only feature for long-term security and stability. A few days after this maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.

Not sure if this is the right place to ask this question but my family and I are headed from San Francisco south. Did the coast thing want to see interior of the state. Any good camp spots this time of year? Thank you.

Laguna Mountain BLM camp is free, on Coalinga Road. Head through Hollister and down highway 25, Then take Coalinga Road. Should be dead quiet this time of year. Also Fremont Peak near San Juan Bautista or Mount Madonna up behind Gilroy (pay) should also be quiet. All depends on what areas you drive through. That's about it for my area.
