Trailer brake controller installation help

What rig is it going into... most are plug and play these days.

2010 4 runner, it is plug and play for the most part, I cant figure out if I should splice it into any of existing wires. I'm not that inclined to auto electrics. Install should resemble this site - Redarc 4runner I just dont trust myself enough and dont want to screw up something critical like breaks.

Get the adapter plug... the. It’s 100% plug and play, no need to splice anything, other than possibly the bluee wire.
