We travel with two toddlers now, but we traveled a lot when they were infants. We just limit the hours driven to keep them happy and make sure we pack a box with some of their favorite toys, blanket, etc. It was easier when they were on formula bc we didn't need to refrigerate milk all the time. At that time we did not have a fridge in the van. Having a fridge has been a game changer. Its awesome having all of the food, fruits, snacks, etc cold instead of ruining a bunch a food in the cooler or constantly buying ice. Anyway, camping with the little ones not really changed the way we pack too much.
Oh, we did take a pack and play. It helps to keep nap times regular even when at a campsite. The days are much better!
