All,. I have a friend with a beloved Toyota (22r engine iirc) that needs help up and to a possible replacement. Engine is well over 350k miles.

Any recommendations for non dealer shops in the East Alameda County CA area (Liv/Dublin/Ptown/San Ramon ish)?
