TJM Pro locker and Eaton E locker function question

  • Guest, we will be conducting site maintenance August 4th and some downtime is expected. At this time Rally Point and the Member Map will also become an app-only feature for long-term security and stability. A few days after this maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.

I’m looking into putting a set of lockers in my 80 series. What I’d like to know, is if TJM Pro Lockers can be switch on the fly? I’m fairly certain that Eaton/Harrop the vehicle has to be stationary?

Are they both manually locked? Ie by air or by electronic switch. Only eaton lockers ive had experience with are the ones in gm trucks the g 80 which is automatically actuated when the tires spin over 100 rpm. For manual lockers its probably not a bad idea to stop and lock em up even if it says you can while rolling since you probably have to stop or slow way down anyway to switch to 4wd. Might keep the actuators from getting trashed early. For rock crawling rigs that see little no no highway use i weld the spider gear in rear and leave front open.
