Blew my clutch few nights ago trying to get unstuck, guess no one around cared to mention while I was letting her eat that the tires weren't spinning, my fault, but the outcome... she's toast. Any who, I'm looking for advise on replacing it. While I have everything torn apart I might as well upgrade it too. Has anyone got experience with replacing tacoma clutches, purchased from the manufacturers below, or any suggestions for clutches? Looking for tips and opinions that will help choose the right application. Here are three different clutches I've been thinking about.

When I had had to replace the clutch's in my Toyota's, I had found the Toyota clutch's held up best. I tried a bunch of different aftermarket designs and ended up back to OE. Be careful of performance clutch's. Some of them can be very aggressive, have stiffer pressure plate and can eat your flywheel.
Make sure your flywheel is resurfaced if possible and the clutch/ pressure plate are of the same manufacture. When I sold my 05 Tacoma last year, it didn't need a clutch yet but, it didn't look that hard to change.

EDIT: I just looked again at the links. I had stated some of the performance clutch's can eat your flywheel. The two that did it on me were ceramic "heavy duty" clutch/ pressure plate. Your clutch hydraulic system isn't real happy with too stiff of pressure plate and on long off road trips your leg gets tired. Did you notice they said the clutch will chatter and have quick engagement? That means no feathering clutch to keep the tires from breaking loose.

Thank you so much @smritte! I had not a clue that could be an issue. Yes I did see the comment on the one clutch but I didn't know what that meant. I will definitely do some research on a more stock clutch. Again thank you for your knowledge, it's been a great help!

I can't comment on any of the performance clutches you post to. I just had to replace the clutch in my '97 Tacoma this June after 21 years and 320+k miles. Per recommendations from my mechanic and others that I've spoken to I had the shop install all new Toyota parts. Hoping for another 300k miles on the this one :D
