This will be my build thread. Most of my build will be stealth.
This truck is my company vehicle, so the things I'm going to do for it are to make it capable of long trips to extra-terrestrial-like places:
Arizona, Colorado, Utah, New Mexico, Idaho, Eastern Washington, and the like.

Stock vehicle:
2019 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off Road Double Cab, Long Bed, magnetic grey metallic.

Modification #1: Arizona pinstriping.
First thing to do with a new truck? Take it out somewhere to make sure it gets a scratch or two. Now that that's done I don't need to worry about whether it gets a ding or scratch in it.

Okay, time for an update. I've had the truck for about five weeks now.

I've added a front camera (actually, a full 360-view system, but I'm not ready to cut holes in my mirror housings to add the side cameras). That was more painful than it should have been: 1) I didn't want to splice wires, so I ended up having to order the anytimebackupcamera kit. But the dpdt switch I have didn't fit where I was supposed to fit, so I ended up carving off a bit of plastic from my 4-week-old truck :(.

I've added a fuse block under the hood. I'm not a fabricator, I'm a hacker, so it's kind of ugly. But it will do its job.

I've ordered a cap for the truck, 2.5 weeks ago. It's supposed to be here within 3 weeks. I was really hoping it would be here sooner, but... I guess that's the way life goes.

Got a fridge too.

And I got my vanity plate.

Here's the Tacoma kitted out with five to seven days of off-grid adventuring for two adults and a 120-pound Rottweiler.
Five to seven days depends on how we ration water.
We spent our time in the Kaibab National Forest near the North Rim of the Grand Canyon.
Stopped at Jacob Lake on the way in and on the way out.

Like I said, this is a stealth build.
