Enthusiast III
Yes another Jeep. Not sure if I can link to my intro thread without getting flagged. So here is a copy/paste:
What I have done so far:
All of the electrical Gremlins, and there are many. Right now I put in a fresh Optima red top battery in her two days ago and it is sitting at 9.4V due to the interior lights staying on. That is with a small solar panel trickle charger attached. I am about to go out there and disconnect the battery to try and save it.
Hopefully tomorrow I will get to check if the door ajar switches are always open. To be updated...
I have a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee (ZJ) that I am thinking of converting to an overlander.
She is not a looker and has a lot of previous owner problems, but on the other had she was cheap :)
I am up in the air whether or not to put the sweat equity in it, or just start with something else.

What I have done so far:
- Installed a budget boost body lift of 3"
- Removed the rattling plastic exterior body trim
- Changed plugs, cap, and rotor.
- Changed oil
- Broke and repaired the front drive shaft CV
