Temecula, CA - Memphis, TN - 4 Days - What to see?

I'm driving a Jeep LJ from Temecula to Memphis soon. I'm going to take a few back roads along the way. I know I want to drive through the below areas/towns. Anything else nearby that would be a must see? Jeep is ready for most terrain, but I am kind of moving part of a household it in it as well, so don't want to do any super technical offroading.

VERY rough itinerary
- Temecula
- Joshua Tree
- Parker Dam
- Nothing, AZ
- Sedona
- Flagstaff
- Monument Valley
- Mesa Verde NP
- Durango, CO
- Pagosa Springs, CO
- Taos, NM
- National Grasslands
- Fort Supply
- Fort Smith
- Memphis

I am slight more interested in the areas before Arkansas.

It would be worth checking out the Ouchita National Forest southeast of Ft Smith and make your way to Hot Springs National Park. Once you are east of Little Rock it is pretty much farmland off of I40.

Not sure on overlanding trails but the Arkbuckle Mtns in Southern Oklahoma are a pretty cool spot as well that might be worth considering.
