Looking for recommendations on dispersed camping around Tellico Plains area,preferably around on on a creek or river and also some forest service roads to explore. Looking to go over memorial day weekend...thanks for any information

Holly Flats CG is a nice place to camp. It's on Bald River Rd off of River Rd above Bald River Falls.

Also, check out North River Rd. It turns to the left off of River Rd above Bald River falls. There are some nice dispersed camping spots along the river. If you follow North River Rd all the way out it comes out on the Cherohala Skyway.
