Tailgate Trash Systems

I use a Trasharoo, mostly b/c I hadn't heard of any other 'over the spare tire' options. Recently I came across "The Last US Bag" site and they have a trashbag that looks to be tailgate friendly. Pasting link here...

$234 shipped and 4-6 weeks for delivery v. like 60 bucks. I'm all about US made but this is just a garbage bag..

since these trash collecting bags are considered "accessories"...the real question is if they are supposed to match the vehicle color OR the vehicle rims? kind of like how a belt is supposed to match the shoes. so does a tan pickup with black rims get a tan or black bag??

I think I would personally go with the rim color. I think the color contrast would look better.

None of the colors offered go with the rims, or body color on my rig. So, I'd probably have to send one off to a specialist and have color dyed to match, or just run down to some overland boutique at a galleria to find something else.

Why do these types of post always make me think of that verse, from that song....

"...his pretty little souped-up four-wheel drive..."

Haha nice! Yea I guess either deal with the mismatched color since they don’t offer yours or have one dyed. May not be worth the cost all together unless you really want it

I love this, I was thinking the same when I was browsing Blue Ridge, do I pick black or Tan to match my Softtopper and Besttop Super top.

Made in Canada ,very good bag.

Great looking bag! .... and Canadian dollars, BONUS!! Unfortunately they're out of stock right now (the ubiquitous current supply challenges :-( I'll be watching these guys though and would be proud to ” wear” one of their G.A.R.B. 's.

I ordered a big velcro closed bag that appears to be made of plastic tarp material from the Aussie guys from 4WD 24/7 Snatch Clothing. I figured I would bring a bunch of plastic grocery bags along (we save them in our house for garbage use). I'll bag and tie everything up and put it in the big sack for later disposal. On my last couple of outings (which happened to me my first couple of outings), I picked up garbage into those grocery bags and tossed them in my truck bed.

Let us know how it holds up. I do the same with the plastic bags. It's a shame that we end up with more trash from other people then ourselves.
