In my 2013 JKUR I wanted a mount for my phone, looked at the RAM mounts, didn't like the price pint and that I would still have to run wire for plugging in.
Then I found this on Ebay:
Has a hard wire and switch that I ran to the cigarette lighter for power. Does contact charging for my cell phone. Also has a USB on it so I can plug my dash cam into it.
So far i am very happy, it is mounted to the grab handle and is out of the way, mostly...
It also comes with a surface mount ball, so it could be mounted elsewhere if need be.
