• Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.

My
Which day will you run? If you are here early Saturday, I was thinking of taking the kids on the run!
plan would be to run the trail Saturday. It’s about a 4 hr drive for me. I would probably leave Fremont at 6am.

Depending on how many people, and the obstacles, about 2 hours to get to bald, and then back again. If Tamarack is open, that route is super easy, and fast, but not a ton of technical. Not saying the route from Rock Creek is technical, but it does provide a couple opportunities for spotters...

So are we doing this? Friday night my kids and I are going to stay in Fresno with family and head up Saturday in the morning. We are going to camp up near bald mountain as well somewhere. Anyone going? Where do we want to meet up? We could meet at the Starbucks in Riverpark right by 41 at like 10am?

I am not from Fresno but pretty familar with it. There’s a better spot to meet on the eastern side that’s more on the way to Shaver Lake and beyond. My thought is meeting at 10am at a Starbucks off 168 and Herndon. I think 4 rigs right now. Anyone camping at Bald Mountain or nearby? I have my 3 high schoolers with me which includes my 2 girls that I’m forcing to go :)

So let’s do Starbucks:

I will most likely be there with the kids as my wife is teaching Saturday. We will make it a day run, and we are local. Are you guys planning to camp off Rock Creek, or on the Tamarack side after the run? We live just off 168 before you start heading up to Shaver. Going to make this run in the Tundra.. Full Size action!

This should be fun! Do me a favor and click the link and RSVP that you are going, I think it then gives me a list of who’s coming so we know when we meet up in Fresno. We’ve got people from Fremont (the city between cities), Ripon (the city in the dirt), and the Fresno/Clovis Area (the city of red light runners on Shaw).

If you wanna show us some cool runs I’m up for it, and any suggestions on campsites is great
