I did stumbled into the International UFO conference in Roswell last year when I was out traveling. I had no ideal until I had some mail forwarded to Roswell about a week before the event.

That is a tough one. Full moon does provide a lot of light. Sometimes enough to save me from having to use my lights and battery in camp. However I do sometimes take my telescope on trips, and I love to sit under a dark sky and just gaze up at the beautiful universe.

Depends on elevation. Stars are incredible over 10K' but a full moon is spectacular anywhere. I'll pick the moon.
