Hey all,
I have a cockamamie road trip ahead and next week I am driving to Phoenix, AZ from Oakland, CA. I have two days to do this, leaving first thing Tuesday, and spending the night somewhere along the way Tuesday evening. Have meetings/dinner in Phoenix on Wednesday afternoon/evening, with a hotel waiting for me in Phoenix as well.
Anyone know of any cool spots I can camp Tuesday night? Joshua Tree is my current thought, but figured I would ask y'all if you know anything that isn't too far off the main route, as it is a lot of driving for two days' time.
