Hi all. I am trying to plan a trip to do the southern portion of the Utah BDR. The entire route from Mexican Hat to Moab is about 330 miles. I was aiming to do it in 3 days at ~110mi per day. I'm in a 4x4 truck, but my group could include a dozen vehicles including some AWD (modified, lifted w/ larger tires). I'm curious if anyone has done this route in a non-motorcycle vehicle and could maybe help me to understand if this is feasible or not.

The BDR website says most average 150 miles per day, but that's for motorcycles. I'm OK following a strict schedule but I also want to be realistic. I know a casual/leisurely off road pace could do 50 miles in a day pretty easily, but since I don't really know exactly the terrain I'll be hitting (other than a rough difficulty of 2-3) it's hard for me to plan with confidence.

If anyone has any insight I'd greatly appreciate it.

Also, if the route isn't feasible in 3 days, perhaps you could recommend a section to do in that time?
