I know silver creek well. My favorite fly fishing water is there. I love that area, in summer time I'd go fishing after work on the Silver Fork. I'd park, wet wade fly fish upstream for a mile or so, then hike up the canyon to the road and walk back to my car in he dark . A lot of great memories there.

I pulled up next to him after trailing him for 1 mile watching him. He was determined. But after I told him how bad it gets and that it's closed he and his family where not happy. I told him the signes down by sly park said stop closed, your GPS is wrong. I went to silver fork and holy shnikes it was icy.

Poor guy probably would have drove his entire family into a frozen lake if his GPS told him to. 'member when we had to use maps and critical thinking?!? [emoji524]
